[[Get Busy]], [[Baby Boy]]와 함께 [[Sean Paul]]의 최전성기를 대표하는 곡이며 동시에 댄스홀 음악의 최전성기를 대표하는 큰 성공을 거둔 곡이기도 하다.

[[Ne-Yo]]의 [[So Sick]]을 밀어내고 [[빌보드 핫 100]]에서 2006년 4월 첫째 주[* 2006년 4월 1일 자 차트]에 1주 1위를 기록했다. 그 다음 주에 [[대니얼 파우터]]의 [[Bad Day]]에 의해 밀려났다.

2006년에는 수많은 1위 장기집권 곡들과 대히트곡들이 있었으나, Temperature는 꾸준한 인기로 탑 텐에서만 17주나 머무르는 등 대히트를 하였다.
